Health Care Sector
◉ HUTCHMED (China) Limited ("HUTCHMED")
HUTCHMED is an associated company of Hutchison China, which is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market (Nasdaq/AIM : HCM ; HKEX : 13).
HUTCHMED is an innovative, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to the discovery and global development of targeted therapies and immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and immunological diseases.
HUTCHMED is among the first global-focus novel drug discovery companies in China. Over the past two decades, HUTCHMED has established a fully integrated R&D platform with world-class discovery and development capabilities. Since inception, HUTCHMED has focused on bringing cancer drug candidates from in-house discovery to patients around the world, with first three oncology medicines now approved marketed in China, the first of which is also marketed in the U.S.
HUTCHMED has also developed a profitable commercial platform with deep pan-China market access, which manufactures, markets and distributes our novel oncology products, as well as prescription drugs and consumer health products in China.
Distribution and Logistics Sector
◉ Guangzhou Hutchison Logistics Services Limited (“HLS”)
Hutchison China partners with Guangzhou Economic & Technical Development District Construction Import & Export Co. Ltd. to setup HLS for participation in the third-party logistics business. With more than 200,000 square meters of warehousing capacity, HLS provides range of services, including supply chain management, logistics information management and consulting services to multi-national corporate customer in FMCG areas, like Procter & Gamble, Watsons, BMW, Zara and Whitecat. As a national logistics service providers in PRC, HLS provides services cover all key cities, such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Beijing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Nanjing, Foshan, Changsha, Kunming, Harbin, Urumqi and other major cities.
◉ Hutchison Whampoa (China) Commerce Limited （“HWCCL”）
HWCCL is a wholly-owned company of Hutchison China. HWCCL has dedicated in the past two decade to develop a pan-China distribution network on fast moving consumer goods. Its main suppliers include many international companies, such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, L’Oréal, Wyeth and Johnson & Johnson. HWCCL operates its business through its headquarter in Guangzhou and the 18 branch offices such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengdu, Fuzhou, Lanzhou, Kunming etc. The downstream customers of HWCCL include all the established national key accounts and local key accounts. The hypermarkets HWCCL covers amounting to roughly 2,771 stores, including Walmart, RT MART, Lotus, Metro, and Vanguard. HWCCL also distributes goods in the general trade through a vest network of distributions.
Consumer Goods Sector
◉ Shanghai Hutchison Whitecat Company Limited ("SHWC")
SHWC is a wholly-owned company of Hutchison Group, which its predecessor can be traced back to 1948, the establishment date of Shanghai Yongxin Chemical Industry Co. Ltd.
As one the famous brands in PRC since its introduction in 1948, SHWC is engaged in manufacturing and selling numerous daily chemical products in PRC, which has successfully managed and operated several well-known household brands like, Whitecat, Weihuang, Jiamei and LanJieLing. Nowadays, SHWC is a well-known enterprise nowadays with enormous potentiality, leading technology, advanced equipment, good assortment, excellent quality and considerate market credibility in the daily chemical industry.
SHWC is also actively committed to social charity/responsibility, making its own contributions in disaster relief donations, sponsorship of the Shanghai World Expo and youth knowledge contests sponsorship.
◉ Procter & Gamble
Hutchison China disposed all of its interests in Procter Gamble China, a joint venture established with Procter Gamble Group in China for US$2 billion in June 2004. A gain of HK$13.7 billion was realized on this sale.
Hutchison China and P&G had together built a very successful business in the manufacturing and distribution of personal care products in China ever since its establishment in 1988.
After the sale of the shares, Hutchison China still remain as the main provider for imported products distribution, logistics and other services for P&G. P&G is one of the largest consumer products manufacturers in China. P&G manufactures and distributes top quality products including Pantene, Head & Shoulders, Rejoice, Safeguard, Olay, Whisper, Tide, Ariel and Crest brands.
Aviation Sector
◉Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering Company Limited ("GAMECO")
GAMECO established in October 1989 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, is a joint venture between China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd. (CSN) (50%) and Hutchison China (50%) from Hong Kong, that specializes in aircraft and airborne component maintenance, repair and overhaul. Now, GAMECO is approved as a maintenance organization by CAAC, FAA, EASA and over twenty other global aviation authorities.
Headquartered in Guangzhou, GAMECO has setup Chongqing Branch, Qingyuan Branch, Component Business Center (CBC), Composite Repair Center (CRC), Part Manufacturing Center (PMC), Shanghai Pudong Maintenance Team, Beijing Daxing C check Line and Line Maintenance Team, Australia Branch, and New Zealand Branch. It is capable of performing multi-levels of aircraft maintenance checks, modification and engineering services, which covering line maintenance, base maintenance, component repair and retrofit, landing gear overhaul, part manufacturing, composite parts repair, passenger to freighter, cabin modification and renovation, aircraft painting, aircraft engineering, training, materials management and consignment sales, technical service of ground support equipment and AOG support, etc.
◉ China Aircraft Services Limited (“CASL”)
Founded in 1995, CASL is a joint venture among China National Aviation Corporation (Group) Limited (48%), Hutchison China (48%) and China Airlines Limited (4%), providing aircraft line and base maintenance, cabin services and ground services equipment, as well as supply and storage services at Hong Kong International Airport. By opening its aircraft maintenance hangar at Hong Kong International Airport in May 2009, CASL is capable of providing a higher level of aircraft maintenance services to worldwide airline customers in both aircraft line maintenance and heavy maintenance.
